Okay, I have to brag on one of my co-workers. Ashley Meyer helps me with day to day administrative activities, and does some design work on ads for my clients. I knew she was talented, but yesterday she took it to another level!
While negotiating with a past client and current prospect, they requested a “spec ad” or in other terms, a sample ad for what we had in mind.
An idea immediately popped into my mind, and when I told Ashley about it, she was excited about the challenge it presented. We have limited resources and obviously didn’t have a lot of time. As you can see from the photo below, she stepped up and knocked it out of the park.
Within a few minutes of sending this spec ad to the prospect, we had a new client! I have no doubt their decision was based partially on the magic Ashley pulled off in this ad. I admit I’m a marketing junky, but you have to admit this is pretty cool work!

I promised the client, Columbia Turf & Landscape, we would mention this is not the final version of the ad. Since the majority of their business is commercial accounts, they requested we change out the photo for one depicting a business.
