In the book Jesus, Inc. by Laurie Beth Jones, the question of, “what treasure are you guarding,” is raised. Too often, we tend to hold on to or protect things that aren’t necessarily good for us because we are comfortable with them.
As a business owner or professional, what are you holding on to that you know you should let go?
- Is it an account that makes your life miserable and then won’t pay on time?
- Do you start dreading Monday morning on Sunday night because it means another week of enduring a job not doing what you are passionate about?
- How about a manager who is more concerned about his/her own success than doing what is right for their team?
- Perhaps that promising partnership has turned out to be a dud.
Take a fresh look at the situation. Is your comfort level the only thing holding you back? Then it’s probably time to let it go. What’s the alternative? Is it going to magically get better? You know deep down whether or not it’s worth the aggravation you’re living with each day. Why prolong the agony. Get back in alignment with what you should be doing.
I wish you courage to face your giants and continued success!

Very true. We are often so afraid of the unknown that we are fail to move forward. There is no reward without risk.
